How to Read the Heatmap

Three color zones tell you exactly what needs attention and what is already covered.

Red Squares

Critical gaps — these properties have major unprotected areas. Title may not be in the entity name, insurance may be missing, or liability items are unchecked. Address these first.

Amber Squares

Partial coverage — items started but not finished. You have begun the process but key verification steps remain. These are your next priority after clearing red.

Green Squares

Fully verified — protection confirmed for this category. The checklist items have been completed and the property is covered in this dimension. Re-verify annually.

Spot Patterns Instantly

The heatmap reveals two types of problems that are invisible when you look at properties one at a time.

Entire Column Is Red

If a whole column is red or amber, you have a systematic gap. For example, if the Insurance column is red across all properties, you likely haven't verified any insurance policies. Fix the process, not individual properties.

A red column means your system is broken — not just one property.

Entire Row Is Red

If a single row is red across all columns, that property needs focused attention. Maybe it was a recent acquisition and hasn't been set up yet, or it was overlooked during your last review cycle.

A red row means one property fell through the cracks.

Sample data — your heatmap reflects your actual property checklist progress.
